Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 August 2026

These are the terms you agree to when you use Liryco. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version: your lyrics are yours, we never claim them. You pay monthly and can cancel any time. Do not use the app to make something illegal, and do not pass off what the AI writes as work you own outright without checking it.

1. Who you are agreeing with

Liryco ("the app", "we") is operated by George Frigator. You can reach him through the support page. By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Liryco. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using your account.

You can delete your account at any time — in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or from the app, under Settings → Account. Deleting it removes your account data from our systems. Songs already saved on your device stay on your device; they are yours.

3. Subscription, trial and payment

4. Cancelling and refunds

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel any time in the Settings app under your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part of a period.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on a new subscription. By starting to use the app immediately you agree the service begins at once; if you then withdraw within 14 days you may be charged in proportion to what you used. Write to us from the support page and we will sort it out. Beyond that, if something went genuinely wrong, get in touch — we would rather fix it than argue.

5. What you write stays yours

You own everything you create in Liryco: your lyrics, your notes, your recordings, your songs. We claim no ownership, no licence and no rights over them. We do not publish them, sell them, or use them to train anything.

To make the app work we process your content only as described in the Privacy Policy — chiefly, sending lyric text to the AI when you ask for a suggestion and have given permission.

6. AI suggestions

Liryco can generate lyric suggestions using a third-party AI model. Be aware of what that means:

7. Collaboration

Live sessions connect devices directly over your local Wi-Fi, with no server in the middle. When you invite someone into a room, you are handing them what is in that session — lyrics, structure, and any recording you explicitly share. Only invite people you mean to share with. We cannot see, moderate or recover what passes between devices in a room, because it never reaches us.

You are responsible for the content you bring into a shared session, and for respecting what your collaborators bring into it.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Liryco to:

We may suspend or terminate an account that does these things.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Liryco working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change, and features may be removed. Live collaboration depends on your local network and on Apple's frameworks, which are outside our control. Your songs are stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud — so the app not being reachable does not put your work at risk.

10. Liability

Liryco is provided "as is", to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost work you did not back up, or for anything arising out of content you or a collaborator created. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory consumer rights, which these terms do not take away.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
